<h2>Sufficient means</h2>
|
||
|
||
<p>The residence authority requires evidence that the applicant has adequate resources. Possible evidence can include:</p>
|
||
|
||

|
||
<li>Regular income</li>
|
||
<li>Support from a parent who has a legal maintenance obligation</li>

||

||
<p>The required amount is tied to the current Slovenian basic minimum income. Sources checked for this revision showed figures between approximately €485 and €510 per month. Always display the current official amount rather than a fixed number, and ask the responsible upravna enota how it calculates the period and which evidence it accepts.</p>

<p>A false or merely borrowed address can create residence, tax, delivery, and legal problems.</p>

||

<h2>Registering the temporary address</h2>
|
||
|
||
<p>A temporary address normally must be registered within eight days where the legal conditions are met. Depending on the accommodation:</p>
|
||
|
||

<li>A landlord or accommodation provider may perform the reporting.</li>

||

<p>Official study-permit guidance recognises a parent’s support statement where the parent has a legal maintenance obligation. Prepare a statement that is:</p>

<li>Clear about the student, support period, and commitment</li>

||
