<h1>Morning Coffee in Front of CTK 2026</h1>

<p>By nine in the morning, the space in front of the Central Technical Library (CTK) looked a little different from the usual exam-period routine. Instead of students simply heading inside with laptops, notes, and coffee already in hand, there was hot Nescafe waiting outside, together with fruit, chocolates, snacks, other drinks, stickers, and a few small activities.</p>
|
|
<p>Some students stopped for only a few minutes before going back to their books. Others stayed longer, talked with friends, met new people, and took a short break before returning to studying.</p>
|
|
<p>That was exactly the point of the fourth edition of Morning Coffee in Front of CTK.</p>
|
|
<h2 id="exam-morning">A different kind of exam morning</h2>
|
|
<p>The event was not designed around a formal programme or a long schedule. It was created as a simple pause during one of the most intense parts of the academic year, giving students a reason to step away from studying for a moment, eat something, have a warm drink, talk, laugh, and recharge.</p>

<h2 id="why-ctk">Why we keep coming back to CTK</h2>
|
|
<p>Morning Coffee began from a very simple observation. During exam season, students spend long hours in libraries and study spaces, often moving from one deadline or exam to the next. CTK becomes one of the places most closely connected with that routine.</p>
|
|
<p>Instead of asking students to attend another organised programme, MSOS decided to meet them where they already were.</p>
|
|
<p>The idea was to create something easy and informal. Students did not need to register, prepare, or stay for a fixed amount of time. They could stop for a coffee, grab some fruit or chocolate, join one of the small activities, talk for a while, or simply say hello before continuing with their day.</p>
|
|
<p>That simplicity is what has allowed the event to grow into a small MSOS tradition.</p>

<h2 id="two-hours">Two hours without an agenda</h2>
|
|
<p>From 09:00 until 11:00, students could take whatever kind of break they needed.</p>
|
|
<p>There was hot Nescafe for anyone who needed an early boost, fruit and snacks for those heading into another long study session, chocolates for a quick bit of energy, other drinks, stickers, and small activities that made the space feel more like a student gathering than a distribution point.</p>
|
|
<p>The atmosphere stayed deliberately relaxed. There were no speeches and no expectation that someone needed to stay. People arrived naturally, met friends, started conversations, and then continued with their plans when they were ready.</p>
|
|
<p>For some, the stop lasted only a few minutes. For others, it became a longer break than expected.</p>
|
|
<p>In the middle of an exam session, even a small change of rhythm can make a difference. Sometimes it is enough to leave the library for ten minutes, eat something, see familiar faces, and realise that everyone around you is going through the same demanding weeks.</p>

<h2 id="four-editions">Four editions later</h2>
|
|
<p>By 2026, Morning Coffee in Front of CTK had reached its fourth edition.</p>
|
|
<p>What started as a simple exam-period initiative has gradually become one of the small traditions through which MSOS stays close to students during the moments when university life becomes most demanding.</p>
|
|
<p>Its value is not in having a complicated programme. It is in being there.</p>
|
|
<p>A table with coffee and food, a few familiar faces, a short conversation, and a reason to stop studying for a moment can be enough to make a stressful morning feel lighter.</p>
|
|
<p>The fourth edition continued that idea in the same way it began: by keeping things simple, open, and close to the everyday student experience.</p>
