Before opening eVŠ
Prepare:
- Passport
- Exact official names of previous schools or universities
- Dates of attendance and final qualification details
- Programme choices and digital documents
- An email address you check frequently
Login
Applicants may use the login methods available through SI-PASS. A new foreign applicant does not need to wait for a Slovenian tax number or a real EMŠO merely to submit the study application.
Where an applicant does not yet have a Slovenian EMŠO, eVŠ may create a temporary or fictitious identifier for the application. The real EMŠO is assigned later through the competent Slovenian institution.
Application steps
- Select the correct call for the academic year.
- Select the correct university and programme.
- Choose the applicant category carefully.
- Enter personal and contact information exactly as in the passport.
- Enter previous education and indicate that it was completed abroad.
- Complete the recognition section.
- Add programme preferences in the correct priority order.
- Upload attachments and review every page.
- Press Submit and save the submission confirmation.
What counts as a submitted application
A draft is not an application. The application is valid only after the final submission action. Keep the confirmation email, the eVŠ confirmation, the application number, a PDF or screenshot of the submitted choices, and copies of attachments.
After submission
Check your eVŠ inbox, email including spam, requests for supplementation, recognition messages, interview or aptitude-test invitations, the selection decision, and the enrolment invitation.
Document quality
- Scan the complete page and keep text readable.
- Do not crop seals, signatures, grades, or reverse sides.
- Combine multi-page documents logically and use filenames that identify the document and year.
- Do not upload casual phone photographs where a clean scan is possible.
Common errors
- Wrong call or wrong applicant category
- Name inconsistent with the passport
- Incorrect education dates or a missing reverse page
- Untranslated document where translation was requested
- Wrong priority order, or an application saved but not submitted
