Acceptance is not always enrolment

A positive selection or admission decision may still require a separate faculty enrolment process. The faculty may ask you to:

  • Enter its student portal
  • Confirm personal information
  • Upload a photograph
  • Choose electives
  • Accept regulations
  • Pay an enrolment contribution
  • Submit final original evidence
  • Complete enrolment electronically or in person

After enrolment

Obtain:

  • Certificate of enrolment
  • Student number
  • Official university email
  • Student portal access
  • Timetable information
  • Student identity-card instructions
  • Contact for the student office

Certificate of enrolment

Request multiple electronic copies if possible. You may need it for:

  • Residence
  • Health procedures
  • Bank
  • Student meals
  • Transport
  • Student work
  • Scholarships
  • Accommodation

Charges

A tuition exemption does not mean that every cost is zero. Institutions may charge permitted enrolment, material, fieldwork, laboratory, card, or other programme-related contributions. Ask for:

  • Legal basis
  • Price list
  • Payment deadline
  • Refund rule
  • Whether payment is required before enrolment is final

Appeal

An appeal is a formal process with a fixed deadline. Contact the institution immediately if:

  • The wrong applicant category was used
  • A document was overlooked
  • A grade was entered incorrectly
  • The recognition decision contains an error
  • You believe selection criteria were applied incorrectly
